Our MSC Butterfly Boned Kippers are best microwaved straight from your freezer.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only.
6 mins to microwave
¢ Remove outer packaging and pierce bag.
¢ Place bag onto a microwaveable plate and cook on FULL POWER in the centre of
the turntable as follows: 650W Cook on defrost for 3 mins, then cook on full
power for a further 3 mins, stand for 2 mins.
Caution! Plate will become hot during cooking
10-12 mins to grill medium to high heat
¢ Pre-heat the grill pan and wire rack on a medium to high heat setting.
¢ Remove all packaging.
¢ Place product on the wire rack under the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes.
Caution! Care should be taken when removing the tray from the oven as it may contain hot oil.
10-12 mins to boil in the bag
¢ Half fill a pan with water and bring to the boil.
¢ Remove outer packaging and place the unopened bag into the pan (do not cover)
¢ Return to the boil and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
¢ Remove bag carefully from pan, shake bag gently, cut across the top of the bag with scissors and serve immediately.
