Storage Instructions
Keep frozen at 18oC or below. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
Directions For Use
Remove from bag and defrost in a cool place for up to 4 hours or overnight in a refrigerator. Rinse thoroughly in cold water, dry on absorbent kitchen paper.
To Barbecue simply brush the defrosted sardines with oil and place on a hot barbecue. Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes. Ensure the sardines are thoroughly cooked then remove the bones and guts before eating.
To Grill cook the defrosted sardines under a medium grill for 10-12 minutes. Ensure the sardines are thoroughly cooked then remove the bones and guts before eating.
To Oven Bake Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Place the defrosted sardines in an ovenproof dish, season with lemon and a knob of butter. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Ensure the sardines are thoroughly cooked then remove the bones and guts before eating.
